Strong Foundations: Women’s Boxing Series
Strong Foundations is a 6-week women’s boxing series designed to teach the fundamentals of boxing while improving strength and cardiovascular endurance. Each 60-minute session blends technical skill development with conditioning, giving you a structured and progressive way to build confidence and capability.
You will learn the core building blocks every boxer relies on, including stance and balance, footwork, timing and distance, defense, and punch mechanics. These fundamentals are what allow you to move with control, protect yourself, and generate power.
Alongside skill work, each session includes conditioning designed to improve endurance, coordination, and total-body strength so you leave feeling strong, energized, and accomplished.
Led by Rachael Washington, NASM-CPT, CMPC
Rachael brings a unique combination of elite athletic experience and advanced training in mental performance. She is a NYC Golden Gloves Champion and competed in the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials for Boxing.
With a Master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology, certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), and ongoing doctoral training in Counseling Psychology, her coaching approach integrates both the physical and mental aspects of performance. Her sessions are designed to help you not only build skill and strength, but also develop confidence, resilience, and focus.
With over 7 years of experience coaching women in boxing and progressive strength training, Rachael creates an environment that is both challenging and supportive, meeting you where you are while helping you grow.

Dates: July 11 – August 15
Time: Saturdays, 9:00–10:00 AM
Duration: 60 minutes
Class Size: Max 6 women
Cost: $75 per class
This is a progressive 6-week series. Enrolling in all 6 weeks is required for this series of boxing classes.
