Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about training at Enoch.
Whether you're new to strength training or looking for a more personalized approach, we're here to help you feel comfortable, confident, and supported.
-
Not at all! Many women come to Enoch with little or no strength-training experience.
Your sessions are designed around your current fitness level, goals, and experience. We'll teach you proper exercise technique, help you become familiar with the equipment, and gradually progress your training as you build strength and confidence.
-
Your initial consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know you and determine whether Enoch is the right fit.
We'll discuss your goals, exercise history, current activity level, relevant health considerations, and what you're looking for in a personal training experience.
We'll also talk about scheduling and develop a plan for getting started.
An initial consultation is required before beginning personal training.

Our services are centered on helping women build strength, confidence, and sustainable exercise routines.
-
Enoch is a private, appointment-only personal training studio in Columbia, Missouri.
Unlike traditional gyms, we focus on individualized coaching rather than memberships or independent gym access.
Our studio is intentionally designed to offer a more personal training experience, including:
A private, mirror-free environment
Individualized strength-training programs
One-on-one attention and guidance
Consistent, scheduled appointments
A supportive space to learn and progress
You won't be left wondering what exercises to do or how to structure your workouts. Your trainer takes care of the programming and guides you through each session.
-
We believe strength training should be about how you move, how you feel, and what your body is capable of, rather than how you look while exercising.
Our mirror-free studio helps create an environment where women can focus on their training without the added distraction of watching themselves in a mirror.
Our goal is to make strength training feel comfortable, approachable, and empowering.
-
Yes. Every personal training program is developed around your individual needs.
We consider your goals, experience, movement patterns, preferences, and progress when selecting exercises and planning sessions.
Your workouts will evolve as you get stronger and your needs change.
-
We understand that not everyone begins strength training without physical limitations.
We'll discuss relevant injuries, movement concerns, and exercise history during your consultation.
When appropriate, exercises can be modified by adjusting positioning, range of motion, resistance, or exercise selection.
Our goal is to help you train safely and effectively within your abilities. We do not diagnose or treat injuries, and some conditions may require clearance or guidance from a licensed healthcare professional.
-
The best training schedule is one you can realistically maintain.
Many women benefit from strength training two or three times per week, but the right frequency depends on your goals, experience, recovery, and availability.
We'll work together to establish a consistent schedule that fits your life.
-
We offer two individual personal training options:
45-minute sessions | $80
Focused, individualized strength training designed to make the most of your time.
60-minute sessions | $100
A longer session that allows additional time for strength training, movement preparation, and other programming needs.
Both options include personalized programming and one-on-one coaching.
-
We encourage clients to establish consistent weekly appointments.
Having a regular training schedule creates accountability, supports progress, and makes exercise easier to incorporate into your routine.
We'll discuss scheduling options during your initial consultation.
-
Appointment availability varies.
Please contact us to discuss current openings.
-
Your personal training appointments are reserved exclusively for you, and sessions are charged on the first day of each week for all appointments scheduled that week.
If you're unable to attend a session, you may request to reschedule it within the same calendar month, depending on your trainer's availability.
Rescheduling is not guaranteed. Canceled or missed sessions are nonrefundable, and sessions that cannot be rescheduled within the same calendar month will not roll over or receive a credit.
We appreciate your understanding and respect for your reserved training time.
